Heartbleed Bug

WHAT THAT MEANS TO YOU:  DPSFCU’S CORE PROCESSOR HAS TESTED THEIR SSL DEVICES AND THEY HAVE ADVISED US THE DEVICES USED BY OUR MEMBERS HAVE NOT BEEN AFFECTED AND HAS NEVER HAD THIS BUG.  MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE THEIR DPSFCU PASSWORDS.  HOWEVER, WE RECOMMEND YOU HEED THE WARNINGS AND CHANGE NOT ONLY YOUR CREDIT UNION PASSWORD, BUT ALSO YOUR PASSWORDS EVERYWHERE.  RESEARCH HAS SHOWN THAT MOST USERS USE THE SAME PASSWORD ON ALMOST EVERY SITE.  EVEN THOUGH YOUR PASSWORD MAY NOT HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED THROUGH OUR ON-LINE PROCESS, YOU MAY BE IN JEOPARDY IF YOU USED THE SAME PASSWORD AT ANOTHER SITE.

TO CHANGE YOUR DPSFCU PASSWORD:  YOU MAY CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD AT ANY TIME BY LOGGING INTO ONLINE BANKING, CLICK ON THE CHANGE PASSWORD MENU AT THE TOP AND FOLLOW THE PROMPTS.

NOTE:  PLEASE USE A UNIQUE PASSWORD FOR YOUR DPSFCU ON-LINE BANKING AND DO NOT USE THAT PASSWORD FOR OTHER SITES.  THE REASON IS ALL SITES MAY NOT YET HAVE BEEN REPAIRED.  IF YOU USE THAT PASSWORD AT A SITE THAT HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED, IT WOULD PUT YOUR PASSWORD IN JEOPARDY AGAIN.

THIS MAY HELP TO FURTHER PROTECT YOU:  IF YOU ARE USING CHROME AS YOUR BROWSER (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) YOU CAN CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO INSTALL A TOOL THAT WILL WARN YOU ANYTIME YOU GO TO A SITE THAT HAS THE HEARTBLEED BUG.
